These spoken stories are based on true accounts from medical journals recorded during Antebellum Virginia that document the medical treatment and experimentation on persons of African descent.
Shallow Space Between
Shallow Space Between examines the battle between light and dark, love and envy, peace and war in the mind of every person seeking to leave behind self-defeating behavior, suffering, and disappointment to fill its void with prosperity, healing, and fulfillment. Kinetically this is expressed in the contrast between fluidity and attack, balanced with rhythmical complexity, and layered with a synergy of contemporary and traditional modern and African based movement.
